For some reason, the "master" bedroom always seems to get neglected. I like to think of mine as purely functional and not a bit fashionable. But, this is exactly my goal this year as well....to make the bedroom something more of a retreat than a "fold laundry, play video games, everything else" kind of room. Good luck to you...I've got a few ideas of my own..

I really like your bedroom how it is. I think it's nice to have a bedroom that's calm and soothing and relaxing and not to cluttered and chaotic. I'm sure whatever more you do will be cute, but I do think that in a bedroom less is more. Oh, and I love the white dresser as a bedside table, it's really cute. Someday I want to meet the people who owned your house before you... do they still live in your town? I hate to belittle someones decorating style, but those before people were screamers weren't they???? Love how you've changed that. I would keep the bed the focus of the room it is so lovely and inviting and maybe hang a wonderful quilted wall hanging in the accent color of choice. But I know you'll do a better job than I ever could. CAn't wait to see what you actually do!
