a little spill-age

one of my next projects is made out of this line.
i'm super excited about it, i can't wait to see if it turns out as cute in real life as it did in my head and in my sketch book.
i've been working on it...sloooooowly...everything over here creative has been put on the "slow track".

why you ask.
well because i'm, going through every single drawer, cabinet, closet, nook and cranny and putting things in piles to keep, give away, sell or throw out.

why you ask?

well...ahem i sold my house.

ohhh yeah i kind of didn't mention that i had put my house up for sale did i...does my shotty blogging make a little more sense now?

yeah well, we sold it.

had sellers remorse for like a day...emotionally ate anything that wasn't nailed down in my house and grocery store.
then went and bought another house.
went back to the grocery store and emotionally ate myself into another stupor.

so for right now we're still living in this house, all paper work should be done and through with in the next two weeks on both houses.
the people wanting to move into my, oh sorry, this house are probably going to close hours before we close on our new one.

so yeah are you ready to decorate a new house with me?
i'm a little nervous.
and excited.
and probably going to have to buy all new wardrobe after all this is said and done.
now if you excuse me, i need to go get more chocolate and carbohydrates into my system.
we'll talk soon.

Haha, I'm right there with you right now with the whole moving thing, although we are waiting for a new house to be built, so I have a few more months ahead of me of emotionally eating myself into a stupor, amongst other things, haha! Good luck with your move!

WOW!! I totally didn't see that one coming! That's wonderful, though - to get your home sold & have another one lined up within hours! That's a big Congrats & a pat on the back!

(Can't wait to see what you create with that line of fabrics!)

OH my goodness! No wonder you've been stressed! GOOD LUCK!

P.S. Does your new house have any thing exciting like violet-blue walls?

Congratulations! What fun! Seriously. Put down the chocolate (okay, all but a few bits) and get that brain moving on all the new fun projects you can bring us! We'd love to help (er, live vicariously through you) decorate a new place!

(Um, that's a lot of exclamation points. Sorry. Can you tell I'm in need of some re-decorating inspiration?)

Well, I'm thrilled for you, but I have to say this post is seriously lacking in details! Like, why are you moving? More bedrooms, more land, or some other reason? What kind of a house are you moving to? another ranch, a colonial, a barn? is it near where you live now? closer to town? questions questions.... so congratulations on the new home and on selling your current home and we're all excited to see what you come up with next!

We just went through the same thing~
WARNING! It takes far longer to unpack than it did to pack. I am having a hard time deciding where to put things. Good luck!

Congrats on selling your home in this crappy market!! If by chance, you don't want to pack up fabric, you can always ship it to me and I can "hold" it (indefinitely) for you!! heeheehee

OMG Vanessa! But didn't you just get it how you wanted it??? Need more room huh? I hope you got your own sewing room in the new place! Can't wait to see it!! Jenn

Oh how cool for you!! You will burn off all of those carbs moving into your new place...and you will have soooo much fun decorating it.

Yay for you and your fam! I do know how you feel though. we recently moved form IL to Louisiana and their are things I like about our new house and things I like about our old house.
I hope you will take us on your journey of making your new house a home.

I'm assuming you are still staying in your little town? Or is their bigger news...

Congrats!! We just had a yard sale today and everything that didn't sell went to charity. I sound like an episode of clean house. We aren't moving but it seems to be something we do every year. Good luck with the move and can't wait to see your new house and the project you are working on!

We sold our home a few months ago and I cried for days. Okay, weeks. Selling was the right decision, but I was heartbroken. So heartbroken in fact, that I didn't even tell most people we had sold until after we moved. Way after. I think I am finished mourning my old house (almost). Good luck with your move! Hope it goes smoothly.
Wow, I just read over that and it's totally depressing :)

Exciting! Congratulations! We moved last spring and while it was emotional we are very happy with our 'new' house. And I hope you will be too!

I hope the timing works great! I did that and thankfully our old house and the new house, we moved across town, closed within hours of each other. Heart in throat moment!!
